We are Upsala-Circus, we are developing a contemporary circus project in Zeitz (Sachsen-Anhalt) and we are putting together a team for it. Look at us:

From 2018 to 2021, every summer we held peacemaking summer art-residencies in Zeitz for children from Germany, Iran, Russia and Syria. And from 2022, we are developing regular programs for children and teenagers, including children and teenagers with migrant and refugee experiences. We currently work with over 100 children between the ages of 4 and 18.

In the past 3 years, we've organized 3 city festivals and a carnival, created 3 performances and 2 work-in-progress shows, and run 3 inclusive camps. We have around 40 children attending our circus space each day. For more details about all our projects, visit: upsalacircus.de

That's what we do:

1. performance «45 Minutes»: A performance with pupils about school, in which teenagers from Germany and teenagers with a migration background will talk honestly about the problems they face, each in the language of the modern circus.

Join our team as a circus trainer for children and youth programs (ages 4-17)!

Whether you have a circus background or come from street-arts (parkour, breakdance, freerun, etc.) with enthusiasm to learn circus - we'd love to meet you. We work with age-specific groups, where requirements vary from basic skills for younger children to more advanced techniques for teenagers. The key is having both teaching talent and physical abilities - we're looking for people who can not only perform but also inspire and educate.
